Tana Rice Millers is located in Mwea, Kirinyaga county. We are among the best private milling companies in the country and the region. We specialize in the farming, milling, storage, and sale of rice.

We have one of the biggest milling facilities in Kenya with an output capacity of 60 metric tonnes a day. Therefore, we mill a significant proportion of the rice farmed in the Mwea Irrigation Scheme, which produces over 113,000 tonnes of rice a year, which accounts for 80% of the rice produced in the country.

Our facility can also store 50,000 metric tonnes of rice. We have created employment for many people through our collaboration with farmers and other stakeholders involved in the cultivation, processing, storage and sale of rice and it’s by-products.
